#AROUND THE MOUND

WHAT IS #AROUND THE MOUND

#AroundTheMound is a simple movement where opposing teams unite as one around the mound after a baseball game to give glory to God.

How do I do it?

1. EXTEND THE INVITATION TO THE OTHER TEAM

a. Call or email prior to game
b. During pregame or coaches meeting at home plate
c. While shaking hands during post-game
d. By hanging a flyer in your visitor’s dugout

2. CIRCLE AROUND THE MOUND AND PRAY

a. You can stand or kneel; go arms around shoulders or hold hands
b. Depending on make-up of the teams, you can have one person pray or multiple players and coaches from each team pray.
c. Ask someone to take a picture and post it to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook with #aroundthemound
